Planet Earth is one of the best documentary series ever, I don’t think anyone who’s seen even one episode would argue against that statement. When Planet Earth II came out, I hunkered down for a weekend and flew through iguanas being chased by snakes, wild stallions duking it out, and a sloth going for a leisurely swim to find his girlfriend.
Needless to say I was extremely excited to see the announcement from BBC Earth that they would be launching five new documentaries, including the much anticipated Planet Earth III.
The other series include One Planet: Seven Worlds, Perfect Planet, Frozen Planet II, and Green Planet. They’re all scheduled to air in the next few years. Count me in for all of them.
Here’s the teaser trailer.
