This one’s fun.

If you’re into scary movies, it’s a must watch. It’s right up there with Get Out and The Conjuring in my books (maybe better, honestly).

The movie starts with a death, and slowly explores a family that appears to be cursed. Toni Collette absolutely should have been nominated for an Oscar for her performance in this movie, she’s pretty much a perfect lead. Some have called this movie the modern day Exorcist, and I think that’s not overstating anything. It’s actually much scarier.

As a side note, a piece of marketing for this movie was fantastic. It was reported that many of the actors in the film had to undergo counseling after shooting. Whether this was a publicity stunt or not, the news got picked up in major publications which sent many people to the theaters to see what could be that shocking. This is top notch PR.
