Some stuff going on with me:
-For the last 40 days, I’ve been in Vancouver, Colorado, and Edmonton. Today, though, I made the trek back to Fort Lauderdale. It’s good to be back.
-I’m officially swearing in to become a US citizen on Friday, the same day Donald Trump is set to become the 45th President of the United States. Interesting timing.
-I’m also here to wrap up a few things before I move out of Florida. Lots of boring tasks to get done, so it should be a busy month. It’s good to be back at work with my team and at home with my family. The most difficult part of living between two cities is routine establishment. It always takes a week or so to get back into the swing of things, but this time I’m hoping that will be different. I’ll continue to wake up early and start my day with some writing. It helps me lay out my day and get into a creative flow.
-The Steelers play the Pats in the AFC Championship this Sunday. As a die hard Steelers fan, I’m mega excited.
-I’m watching “The Night Of” on HBO. It’s a badass show.
-I’m reading “Predictably Irrational” by Dan Ariely. Pretty interesting so far, I’m really getting into psychology and behavioral economics.
-We’re going to be working extra hard at Cave this month to build up as much video content as possible. I’m leaving Florida soon so we want to have a big content bank to draw from.
-I’ll be trying out intermittent fasting for the next seven days. Two of my co-workers have lost a significant amount of weight by limiting their eating hours – I’ll report back on that soon.
