I love almonds, so I decided to spice up my own this weekend. This recipe is really simple, total cooking time is 10 minutes.
(Note: while butter isn’t technically paleo according to a lot of people, I still use it)
- Raw almonds
- 1 tbsp ghee/butter or your favorite fat
- Red chili flakes (optional)
Heat the butter/ghee in a sauce pan and add enough almonds to layer the pan, but no more.
After coating the almonds in butter, add your rosemary, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. I didn’t list amounts on purpose – you should season them to your own liking. The chili pepper adds some spice if you’re into a little heat.
