Today I tried making something new, and it turned out to be pretty good. Here’s a look at my tomato based chicken stew:
- Fresh Thyme, Sage, and Rosemary
- Other spices pictured directly below
- 4 carrots
- 1 large sweet potato
- Half a red onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- Half a cup of mushrooms
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 chorizo sausage
- 2 cans of diced tomatoes
Do a rough chop on all the veggies and toss them in a crock pot.
Add the diced tomatoes and spices.
Then brown the chicken breasts in a pan, rice them and add them to the crock pot along with the chorizo and herbs.
Let cook for 6 hours on low. Add parmesan cheese when served.
